If you look in a mirror, you see the image of your body. You identify with that image, and you take yourself to be this physical body, which everyone refers to by your name. If you understand the relationship between you and the image of you that appears in the mirror, you’ve understood something important. You produce that image in the mirror. That image can’t produce you.
In the same way, the image that appears in the mirror of your consciousness is not you. Mass consciousness produces it. But your reality is the consciousness of your Being-existence.
