I began studying Breema in 1995, in conjunction with my studies as a Barefoot Shiatsu bodyworker. Breema is at the core of my professional work (I am also a licensed massage therapist), and supports my daily activities for a more harmonious and conscious experience of life. I am eternally grateful for the 9 Principles as guiding tools to navigate and understand existence. Breema's philosophy and practical application supports me to connect to the meaning and purpose of my life, in which I find the desire to be present with myself. Simply coming to mind/body connection through knowing that body breathes and body has weight energizes me to have gratitude and well-wishing for all life. In the recent months I have been participating as a student and as an instructor for online Self-Breema classes. Sharing in this way with students from around the world on a weekly basis has been an incredible experience of unity. I am so grateful to have this practice in my life every day as a way to come to unification within myself. It seems social distancing has brought us together on a new platform that has its own level of connected consciousness. Having the support to connect to myself in the online classroom format has been wonderfully fruitful.
